About the 45th PLMA Conference

The 45th PLMA Conference, scheduled for April 4-6, 2022, will once again offer real-world insights from a diversity of energy practitioners whose work focuses on load management, demand response, and distributed energy resources.

About PLMA's Conference Audience

Twice a year, PLMA convenes a conference of ~250 load management practitioners, including representatives of private and publicly owned utilities, technology companies, energy and energy solution providers, equipment manufacturers, research and academic organizations, government, and regulatory staff. PLMA conferences focus on providing rich learning opportunities within a welcoming and supportive professional community.

PLMA's COVID Safeguards
PLMA will adhere to CDC guidelines, and the following protocols will be in place:

  • We strongly recommend that you get vaccinated prior to the conference.
  • PLMA will provide face masks and will encourage social distancing throughout the event.
  • The City of Baltimore requires masks to be worn indoors, at all times, regardless of your vaccine status. 

Vaccinations
In order to provide a safe and healthy meeting environment for all conference attendees, PLMA will ask all attendees to provide their proof of vaccination for this conference, as follows: 

  • By uploading your proof of vaccination in advance of the conference to a website that PLMA will provide; OR
  • By presenting your vaccination card onsite at registration when you arrive at the conference.
  • If you do not have a vaccination card, PLMA will expect you to provide a negative PCR test, dated within 48 hours of the start of the conference, at registration.
