Colin Lamb, Vice President of Delivery joins the board of directors at Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) and Eric Van Orden, Director of Partnerships was selected for the Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) Executive Committee.

Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative Appoints Colin Lamb to Board of Directors

SECC is a nonprofit organization that works to learn the wants and needs of energy consumers in North America, encourages the collaborative sharing of best practices in consumer engagement among industry stakeholders, and educates the public about the benefits of smart energy technology.

Colin previously guided product and go-to-market strategy for the grid optimization startup Utilidata, and while at Xcel Energy he led product development of new customer solutions including load management programs across the Xcel Energy footprint.

Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA), is a member-led nonprofit organization founded in 1999 as the voice of load management practitioners. As an Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant for the Channel Team, you will lead the development of electrification solutions for Commercial and Industrial customers. In this role, you will specifically be supporting the Heat Pump and Electrification channel. You will be leading the engagement with manufacturers, distributors, and installers to drive Heat Pump awareness through marketing and training. You will work closely with the commercial sector to deliver electrification opportunities through varying program deliveries. As a member of this team, you are driven to help support the channel and supply chain; and identify new and emerging technologies that could be utilized as energy efficiency measures within our programs. On a regular basis, you will interact with both internal teams such as program implementation, engineering, program assessment, marketing, and business intelligence, as well as external partners such as regulatory authority administrators and other utilities or program sponsors.
