Thank you for your interest in this Women in Demand Response update.  This was a 1-hour conversation with a few Powerpoint slides.


Join the Women in Demand Management in mapping out our activities and mission for 2017! We want your help in brainstorming the type of content and direction that most benefits you from the group. We'll discuss the suggestions we received through our 2016 survey and Fall Conference feedback, revisit our mission statement, and map out 2017 activities. This is also a great opportunity to get more involved in the group!

Bonneville Power Administration and Women in Demand Management Co-Chair
Gwen Resendes

Gwen is Program Manager for the Distributed Energy Resources organization within Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), a branch of the Department of Energy. Gwen came to BPA eight years ago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance from Washington State University and 13 years private industry experience specializing in trend analysis. Gwen joined the Distributed Energy Resources group in November 2015 and is currently developing a commercialization plan for BPA that will align BPAs needs with non-wire alternatives and applicable DER resources.

Robin Maslowski

Robin Maslowski is an Associate Director with Navigant Consulting, Inc. Sheprovides expertise in the areas of demand response and smart grid, including cost-benefit assessment, strategic planning, program evaluation, and potential assessment. Her recent work includes determining market potential and implementation strategies for demand response resources, developing business cases for smart grid deployment, building customized analytical modeling tools, and identifying key areas of opportunity for market growth, such as the integration of renewables using demand response and smart grid technologies.

Who Should Attend. Utility and regulatory staff as well as other energy industry trade allies and organizations seeking thought leadership and insight on innovative demand response methods to meet peak energy load needs, mitigate price, and manage variable generation.

How the Women in Demand Response Quarterly Update Works. When you register, you may submit a comment or question in advance. After a brief introduction and review of survey results, three lightning round presentations will be followed by a facilitated discussion. You're welcome to use a speaker phone so an unlimited number of people may participate. After the Discussion, you will receive a recording web link. Unable to participate on this day and time? Register anyway and you will automatically receive the recording link.
