The Utility Load Management Exchange's (ULME's) mission is to promote load control as a viable option for utility deployments in demand reduction, economic dispatch, and/or T&D reliability through a forum for utility staff members to share information on program design, marketing, vendor management, benefit-costs and technology deployments.  If you have attended before you may visit the private site at ULME Home where resources and past presentations are available.  Sign in required.  If you aren't registered with ULME as a rep, contact to request authorization.

SoCalGas just concluded its first winter season where it called DR Thermostat events. SoCalGas will be sharing internal and external feedback gathered throughout the winter and seek your lessons learned and advice on how to improve its program for next winter.

What does DER mean to you? DERs are consuming demand response, even if you don't think DER = DR, but not everyone defines them the same way. This guided discussion will explore how DER is handled in different groups, new things that are being included in DER, and how mandates are impacting the interactions between DR and DR. Everyone can participate, and the session will include some fun activities.

Registration for the ULME Fall Meeting is open to utility representatives only. A hosted dinner, lunch, and breakfast will be provided. You are responsible for your own travel and hotel expense. Getting Around

  • San Diego International Airport is the closest airport.
  • Parking: On-site self parking is available at the Del Coronado for a fee of $30 per night and valet parking is available for $40 per night. Otherwise, parking on Coronado Island can be difficult. Ride sharing is encouraged.
